Antonia Spowers moved from London to Wales in 1996 and lived on the edge of the Black Mountains. She is currently building on the edge of Presteigne.
In 1995 she had a show in the Pump House Gallery and Sub-Tropical Garden in Battersea Park. Since then the work has been exhibited in solo and mixed shows combined with commissions and work with schools plus residencies in Britain and Europe .
Antonia is a Member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors and a member of the 56 Group Wales, the Welsh Group, Sculpture Network and until recently, Sculpture Cymru.
She is represented by jaggeddart, London and has been commissioned by the Cass Sculpture Foundation.
My work relates to landscape with a strong interest in environmental issues. There is also a special interest in a wide range of physical materials and processes.
