Statement

I primarily work in Sculpture and Drawing . My practice encompasses a wide variety of materials and methods that include paper, film, textile, printmaking, painting, artist books, casting, sewing, carving. I am making and unmaking constantly working to transform materials and ideas, to grasp the emotional and metaphysical.

– The smell of fresh air , early morning bird song, the river running to the sea, the waterfall as background noise, trees without leaves and with flowers wild and planted, the endurance Of animals and the mud between my toes. The colours when the sun shines and when it’s all grey light and rain. The elements of fire, water,Earth, wind. The inner world of my mind , flowing with spirit after a meditation –

This fires up my creative energy in the pursuit of art and hope.’
